What's your style?
I approach weddings with an artistic and documentary style. Every wedding day has a uniquely unfolding story. Capturing compelling moments is my top priority, from the range of emotions, to the personal details, with special attention paid to light and composition.
What equipment do you use?
I use Canon professional lenses and DSLR cameras.
Where are you located?
I live on Lopez Island, WA and travel throughout the San Juan Islands for portraits, events and weddings.
Do we need to do an engagement session?
It's entirely up to you. They're a lot of fun and helps couples get comfortable in front of a camera. Plus, the images can be used for guestbooks, invitations, or save the date cards.
Can we make prints from the DVD of wedding images?
Absolutely, you can print images for personal use.
I recommend mpix.com for inexpensive, professional prints. I own the copyright and reserve the right to use images on my website, social media, promotional materials, etc.
Do you keep backups of photo sessions?
I'll never delete a session, yet once a DVD has been delivered it's your responsibility to make a copy and back files up to your hard drive.
Are you insured?
I have liability and equipment insurance.
What's your pricing?
Wedding packages in the San Juan Islands start at $2500.
How do we book you for our wedding?
After you've selected a wedding package, I'll email you an agreement to sign and return with the retainer.
The retainer to book a date is half the balance.
The remainder is due 30 days before your wedding.
When will we see the photos? How many will we get?
Images will be available in an online, password protected gallery within six weeks after your wedding. The DVD of 500 plus retouched images arrives with your album two to six months after your wedding.
